Secret Origin
The only aspect I remember of that day was flames engulfing buildings and everything in its path--including the multitude of corpses lining the streets--as colossal machines ripped apart and mutilated the small country town . Somehow I was the lone human surviving the massacre in the desolated town.
For all I knew, my friends were dead and I was at a loss. All six--in the Marine’s Special Alpha Division--were no match for the mechanical beasts. As I stood in awe and fear, one of the giants robots twisted around, detecting the final subject of annihilation. I began to turn and head for any remaining shelter when a small projectile shot past the robot’s arm hitting mine like a 100 small sharp needles.
I screamed in agony as the tiny robot leapt from my arm into the air and flew away. A hot searing pain immediately coursed through my entire body like molten lava in my veins and I collapsed onto the blood drenched ground. The pain was coupled with mechanical grinding sounds echoing through my skull. The robot must be speaking in its alien tongue. All I could make out amidst my agony was something about a brainiac. A massive explosion went off to my left as debris soared over my paralyzing body. The robot must have somehow imploded, I thought before I was consumed by utter darkness.
The Quest
Three months later…
I was sure I had found them. Though it seemed like I had been searching forever. After my narrow escape from Brainiac’s prisoner holding bay, I returned to find the bodies of my dear friends, but there were no traces of them nor of the town that was completely obliterated. I dared to hope of the possibility of them being alive. But after three months and the power of the machines, it was unlikely for them to have survived. I was grateful at the possibility. With the assistance of my new ally, Dr. Lightning, I discovered that they were in fact alive.
I longed to be united with them, but the reunion did not go as well as I had hoped. As I had long since guessed, the tiny metal robot that had stung me that day was actually an exobyte, which had attacked my friends as well.
As I entered the old airplane hangar where we had tracked them down, they stood like statues as if awaiting my arrival. My jubilant reaction was met by cold, unchanging expressions of malice. They were totally changed and seemed not to even know me. I called out their names as I continued forward. No answer. I called again holding my distance now. Something was very wrong.
The answer I received from their leader--standing prominently in the middle of the group--did not matter as much as was voice that said it. It was my sister! She informed me that the names I had called were dead. I had no idea what she meant and she introduced herself to me as the Scarlet Queen.
Confused and angry with her answer I vowed to snap her out of this hypnotic state one way or another. Two others, who were with her, referred to themselves as the “Hammers of Justice.” They must be brother and sister, Ben and Lillian, I thought as they unexpectedly lunged at me. In a split second, I wielded my sword from its sheath and blocked Lily’s attack, sending her over my shoulder to slam into the wall. The brother now known as Pork Hammer then came at me from the opposite side and with a mighty shove from his hand blasters, I lost my balance crashing hard against the concrete.
Somewhat stunned I had to quickly reassemble myself and call upon the new powers I had honed over the past few months due to exobyte‘s sting, sending a sizzling ball of fire from my palm straight into his chest. He soared backward and crashed into the body of an old aircraft. Wood splinters still flying in the air, I turned to face the remaining threat standing between me and my sister. I was not sure if I could survive--much less save her--but I was going to try. The one called Blue Bomber X walked toward me as a huge cable swung in from out of nowhere, nailing him in the chest and crashing through the back set of double doors into a hallway.
Dr. Lightning appeared around the remains of the old plane and boy was I relieved to see him. As Blue Bomber X faintly stirred in the hallway, the doctor assured me he would take care of him as he ran that direction. Now there was only one to face left and I knew my three months of training would not compete with her years of it in the military. At half power, I was at a serious disadvantage already, but I would give it all I had.
When the heated battle was over, I was on one knee barely able to breathe. As she walked toward me, she kept murmuring that death really changes a person. She stood over me and said I'm not going to let you stop us and I’ll kill you if I must. She assured me that I had no business with them anymore and that if I wanted to preserve my life a little longer I would run out of there right then. My vision was slowly blacking out as I noticed a dark figure slipping into the room behind Scarlet Queen.
The next thing I knew was Scarlet calling out to her, but I could only make out something about Shadow Judge. I could see two figures locked in an intense battle, which ended with a swift kick to the Scarlet’s chin from her opponent’s back flip. When I got enough sense about me to understand what had happened, the Shadow Judge was leaning over my body on the ground placing a healing spell over me. She assured me that I would survive as she leaned down unexpectedly and placed a swift kiss on my lips.
I slipped into semi-consciousness as she stayed beside me and I recovered. I could not utter a word when I regained my breath either from the sheer magnitude of my sister and friend’s evil turn or from receiving a kiss from a superhero. I was jerked out of my mind’s rambling as I heard a familiar voice. I turned my head and my eyes grew wide as I looked into the face of my best friend and rival, Lafitte. I knew who Shadow Judge was at that moment, his younger sister. I attempted to yell for him to step away now, but the healing spell apparently was having a paralyzing effect on me.
Though Lafitte’s powers involve ice, he left me fire for my destruction. The fire was inching swiftly toward several barrels of fuel in the far corner of the hangar. I had no way out. I was just gaining feeling to the tips of my fingers when a crash in the rumble revealed Dr. Lightning. He hoisted me over his shoulder and traveled as quickly as possible out of the hangar as it exploded moments behind him.
He deposited me into a pile of leaves at the wooded area a hundred yards from the hangar. Once I could move my arms and regain the feeling in my legs, we were exhausted and deliriously laughing about the whole matter--maybe it was because of our first run-in facing death. I joked and told him that for saving my life I’d buy him some food, which was the least I could do. As I stopped laughing, I could not help but wonder why Shadow Judge had helped me and if her brother knew.

When it comes to group loot there are certain protocol everyone needs to follow when in a League Raid.
These Protocol govern all Purple (Epic) items in raids.
Minor Green and Blue items are fair game, most roll greed on them.
Protocol 1
You roll Need on your Role only.
(If rolling DPS, make sure everyone knows at the start of the raid so there is no confusion)
Protocol 2
Once you receive a Purple item that you rolled Need on, other group members of the same role as you have priority on next purple item.
If they say they do not Need it, only then is it ok to roll a second Need
Protocol 3
Receiving an Purple item when you greed, does not count for your Need Roll.
Receiving a purple item everyone greeded does not count against you.
Protocol 4
Do not roll Need on items that you have tier 1.5 or 2 for already
Unless you are the only one of your role, then having duplicate might be a good idea to replace broken items
These protocols are in place so that all league members increase their stats. We want a strong league team.
After all we are only as strong as our weakest member. One bad link breaks the chain. Lets keep the chain strong and hopefully kick Inner Batcave's ass.

Hey guys. So its been like 2 weeks since my last post. The whole freezing shit has got my spirits down.
So lets talk Green Lantern:
Beware of Spoilers, ill try to keep it hush hush and will let you know before if i drop a spoiler.
Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, sounds good on paper and discussion, but translating to film is a lot harder than most realize.
Where do you start with the First Live Action Green Lantern Movie? There is so much vibrant history associated with Hal Jordan and the Corps, it sounds almost impossible to do the comics justice when so much is knowledge is needed to understand the concept behind Green Lantern.
With a run time a little under 2 hours, there is a lot to talk about. Green Lantern could have gone two ways.
The first (the worst) is using the Green Lantern concept and applying to a brand new character to make their own Green Lantern only related to the comic book counter part in name and power ring. This was the original idea for Green Lantern. An average joe, overweight who receives a Power Ring, and becomes a hero. The story would be built around the concept that anyone can be a hero. This movie was going to star Jack Black, as a fannie-pack wearing Green Lantern, who saves the world by creating a Giant Superman and have the Superman Construct Reverse the axis of the earth's spin thus turning back time to save the day (Superman original movie). What a fail that would have been!!!
The other way was to introduce Hal Jordan. Now i think we can all agree there is way too much history involved to be page for page accurate to its comic book counter-part. For one thing, the yellow impurity must go. Too much explaining for ppl new to the series, like serious i can knock u out with a banana. This would cut away at alot of the training Hal goes through also.
Now here is where the ppl behind Green Lantern Fucked up. They promised us a Space-Opera, the next big Star Wars. This was a fail. But i think it was impossible to do to begin with. This first movie is about Hal Jordan. As a comic book fan i know almost everything about Hal Jordan, but some average joe wouldnt know squat. There is just too much going on with Hal to make it a proper Space-Opera. The movie needed to explain Hal's fear which ties into the death of his Father. The movie had one scene regarding this moment and never really talked about his father. It focus more on Hal being a quiter than Hal having no fear of death.
The Movie had to go into the dynamics of the Hal/Carol relationship, them being childhood friends, past lovers, and now employee/boss relationship. And finally the Movie had to show Hal's struggle to unlock the power of the ring and start his journey to mastering its power.
This is a whole lot of info, just how are we going to get our Space Opera and all that info in under 2 hours!!! Simple it wont happen atleast not in the first movie. While we do get glimpses of some of the awesome Green Lanterns (bzzrd, anyone see him? little green lantern insect AWESOME!). I had a problem with Sinestro and Abin Sur. The movie tells you Abin Sur is the greatest Green Lantern followed up by Sinestro, but it never shows us why they are the greatest. Never gives us a reason to believe they are
Sinestro was under-written. He was basically a spokes person for the Corps and gets his ass kicked by Paralax. Not a whole lot of Greatness there. Abin Sur part is summed up to getting his ass kicked, over and over and giving Hal his ring. The movie should have shown us the original battle between Abin Sur and Paralax to show us how great of a Lantern Abin is. At no point are we given a glimpse at how bad-ass these characters are
The same goes for Parallax. He is the greatest Enemy of the Green Lantern Corps (in film series) and not once do we really see why he is so bad. Besides sucking ppl's souls and wearing it as "armor".
I know Right?
The Film gives no justice to Parallax or the power it has. The movie actually hints that Parallax is just a rogue Guardian tempted by the yellow power of fear instead of the Embodiment of Fear that we all love. Big Fail!
The movie is definitely eye candy. The special effects were great and i loved how OA looked even though we were there for like 15 minutes.
Overall it is a decent start to the franchise. In the next one i would like to see more Corps, with more lines given to the green lanterns. I want the Corps to be brought to life, give them character, have them talk damnit!
Sinestro will obviously wear the yellow ring in the second, more on that below. I would also like to see a different villian, maybe Black Hand or a Red Lantern, or Krona? (anyone else thing the broken Guardian chair was Krona's?)

After the credits roll we see Sinestro steal the yellow ring of fear and put it on. Some ppl did not like this. They wanted Sinestro to get banished to Anti-Matter universe of Qward, were the natives forged him a Ring of Fear. I think that is a lot to do. If they go that route they would have to explain the Anti-Universe (good luck with that one) who the Qwards are, why are they forging Sinestro a ring and not using for themselfs. That is a lot of story to tell that doesnt involve much action of anything else. BORING! We already sat through something like that in the first Green Lantern.
Heres where i think they will go with the story in a sequel. Sinestro will be like a double agent using the Green Lantern Ring during one scene and the Yellow during a different one. Hal will take on a more of a tourist role, learning from the Veteran Lanterns, while exploring the Vet's background and their planets. Sinestro will let the power of fear influence him and he will control his planet through Fear. Hal will visit Sinestro on Sinestro's home planet and Hal will see what has become of the once greatest green lantern.
So there will be some big fights hopefully with the Corps ending with the Trial of Sinestro. End credits we will see many yellow rings looking for hosts, which gives us a teaser of Green Lantern 3 : The Sinestro Corps War. Maybe even see Carol Ferris beocme the Star Saphire, love to see Lively in that costume.

From the video it looks like we will be battling our way INTO the Fortress of Solitude. It looks like the first part will be like Kahndaq (Open world Raid, instead of enclosed Raid). We probably will have to battle through Brainiac's invasion forces and break into the Fortress (which is prob under Brainiac's control). Hopefully from there we will see the Intergalactic Zoo, Kandor, and the Phantom Zone (Enclosed Raids).

So on their website they had an audio file of some ritual chanting. Maybe a spoiler to Ra's al Ghul?? The chanting maybe from a The Lazarus Pit ritual. The Movie does have the heading "Rises" Could "Rises" refer to Ra's Lazarus reincarnation?

Its been 6 days now since we have been cut off from the world of DCUO.
Sources close to Sony says that Brianic hired some Hackers to infiltrate SONY's servers.
With the Servers down all DCUO heroes have been cut off from the world they swore to protect.
Chaos has reins in the street. Justice has long been forsaken.
With the Market in scambles the only ones still with a Job in DCUO is the post office, due to the overload in Auction House items that has been returned by mail.
With Rare Collections spawning across the Cities, DCUO has become a unreachable Treasure.
Some heroes have moved onto the world of the portal or joined another epic battle of Third Gear of War(xbox beta).
One thing remains on everyones minds....When will the heroes return to bring justice to a once great city.

We flew through Batcave 3. Had a little trouble with the Scorpion. Eventually we got to Brainiac, beat the Eradicators, then concentrated on the Main Man Brainiac.
We got an awesome Neck DPS with ability 50 precision, and a dps rifle.
Watch out for Brainiac's Dual Wields they are deadly

Da One
As a kid he would dream of one day being a superhero, always acting like Batman and Superman. He would follow from their example by saving cats stuck in trees and helping old ladies cross the street. But as he grew he started to realize that he was no superhero.
He couldn’t fly, couldn’t jump or super speed. But he always thought one day….he would be “DA ONE”, but that day never came. And like most kids his age he let his dream slip away.
Before he knew it he was a 20 year old man who didn’t save cats anymore or help people, but just became your average Joe with a nine to five job.
One day he received a call from his father with some bad news.
“Your mother was getting off work and walking to her car when these two guys came up to her and shot her for her wallet. She’s not doing too good….she’s holding on by a thin thread.”
As the days went by all he could think of is that if he had the power he could have done something to save her.
As the days turned to weeks and the weeks to months, he began to find solace in booze. His mind dominated by thoughts of things he could have done to save her.
The Fateful Day
Then one fateful day while binging at a new bar, he heard some loud mouths bragging about what they did a few months ago.
“Hey remember when we killed that lady walking to her car after work? How funny was it when she was begging for her life and for her son to save her? Yah…that was such a rush….we should do it again tonight.”
When he heard that he knew they were taking about his mother and knew this must be fate, he shall have his revenge. He left the bar and walked next door to the gun store (he was in a bad part of the hood). He walked out within minutes with his new gun. Not to waste any time he prepared the gun as he stormed into the bar. But the men where gone.
When he asked the bartender what happened to the men, he was warned about how dangerous those men were and that he shouldn’t go looking for them. Ignoring the bartender’s advice he stormed out hoping to check a glimpse of the men.
The men were no where to be found, but in the distance he heard a cry. As he went to investigate, he saw the two men from the bar raping a young woman.
The kid shouted “Hey yous! Stop! What are you doing? Now I must kill yous!” The kid pulls out the gun his hand barely able to keep the pistol steady.
One of the men turns and says “Oooo your going to kill us? Come on kid lets see what you got and shoot. Come on now I killed your mother!”
The kid lifts the gun and brings the mans head into his sights and says “this is for you mom.” And pulls the trigger.
Nothing happens.
The man quickly moves and disarms the kid. “Stupid kid you forgot to take the safety off.” So the kid then starts to run saying... “help.... Some one help me please!” But no one is around to hear, so he makes his way into an abandoned warehouse.
He runs into a dead end and before he can back track he sees men approach.
The kid sees a small insect above his head. As it got closer he realizes its not a insect, but a tiny metal bug. The bug flys around the kid sizing him up and strikes with lighting speed and bites the kid.
The next thing the kid knew he was surrounded by the thugs. Any hope that he would survive was gone.
“You can’t get a way from us kid, just face your maker and take it like a man.”
Tears form and start to run down the kid’s cheek and the kid falls to his knees, no longer able to hold himself up.
“but……you killed my mother….” Barely able to get the words out.
“Don’t take it so personal kid, we kill a lot of people and now you’re going to see your mother real soon.”
The kid closes his eyes and accepts his destiny.
He mumbles something, but it can’t be heard over the gun’s blast.
The kid feels a sharp pain in his chest and falls over.
Seconds go by and the kid lays there waiting for death to take him away. He realizes there is no pain in his chest anymore and opens his eyes. Lying next to him is a bent bullet on the ground.
He kid gets up to his feet and looks at his shirt. As clear as day there is a bullet hole in the middle of his shirt, but no blood.
Thinking they missed, the thugs unload their pistols on the kid. The kid’s eyes flash white and ice forms around his body.
As the bullets bounce off his skin the kid thinks
did that lil bug give me powers..... no you have to be born with them.....
he looks up and says “now you’re mine”
The kid moves with uncanny speed and grabs the thugs by the necks and said “now you must die”....he breaks their necks with out even thinking twice...
As he looks at their bodies he says
“mom I got them, I just wish I had this power sooner......and I swear I'll never kill again.....cause I am Da One”
As the Da One is leaving the ware house he thinks
what kind of powers do I have can I fly run fast.. Super strong ....have to work on it. Do I tell any body?What do I do? I know I must find super man and batman they will help me.
At that same moment his dad calls him
“hey son I got great new they got they guys that kill your mother”
......WHAT!!!!!!.......

Beginning of a Legend
560 km from the Amazon island known as Themyscira is the island Thalarion. Thalarion was created by the Olympian god Zeus, after his return from the hands of Darkseid's minions. On this island Zeus also created an all-male warrior tribe known as the Gargareans. They would be the new Amazons after the fall of Hippolyta. They were created to bring peace to the world. Swan is a boy from this tribe.
A top a hill an Amazon and Gargarean raise their bows. They are lovers. Every night when the hunter’s moon was out, they would meet in secret moonlight to talk of the day’s battles and then succumb to human desires. However, tonight they challenge each other in honor of their Goddess Athena, to see who the better archer is. They aim with precision and technique, focusing on a single Myrrh tree in the far distance. The challenge is to pierce the Myrrh tree’s bark without letting any precious sap spill.
They let their bows go and the two arrows collide on the Myrrh tree. To their surprise the arrows hit their mark, but also cracked the Myrrh tree open. Within the tree a young baby sleeps covered in a blanket made of swan feathers. The two lovers quickly surmise that this was a blessing from the Gods.
Regrettably, the Amazon knew she could not bring a male child to ParadiseIsland. Furthermore, the Gargarean feared his tribe would not accept such a creature and see it as an abomination. So they did what mortals do when all seemed hopeless. They prayed.
Unnatural thunder clouds filled the sky and covered the moon. The lovers stopped praying as they heard a creature approach. It was a swan and then suddenly shifted in the form of a naked man. It was Zeus. He proclaimed the child his own and blessed by the Gods. He ordered the Gargarean to take him and train him in their ways.
The Stench of Death
Sixteen years later a young Gargarean warrior rolls out of bed. He is woken by the sounds of battle outside. The crystal city of Thalarion is under siege by Brainiac’s forces.
While grabbing his bow and armor, he wonders how the mystical protection of the Gods cast on his island was so easily broken.
Outside, he sees the Gargarean army fighting a vast host of Brainiac forces. The young warrior quickly goes to battle taking down several drones with his bow. In the distance he sees the Amazons arriving on their ships to aid his tribe.
His city is in ruin. The golden river which runs through the crystal city is now filled with blood and flesh of his tribe.
“Despite the Gargarean army and the arrival of the Amazons, Brainiac’s forces were too much for my people… Next thing I recalled… I was in a pod and some lady was talking to me, she called herself Oracle.”

I might get alot of shit for this, but whatever. So im in Inner Batcave with the League and the 2nd Boss drops some tank Feet. At first I didn't care because i already owned some feet i got from Kahndaq or outer (not sure which). Then i looked at the stats. See for your self, also you can see same style, different name

As you can see every stat goes up between the two except Dominance (Increase of 10)
So i feel confident since there is an increase all 3 of the 5 stats (one stays the same) it is not a variation with different stats.
A variation would have 100 power increase with 50 decrease in might while the variation would have 50 increase in might with a 100 power decrease.
This is not the case.
Only dominance goes up by 10 (which is the roughly the same amount of Tier 2 dominance)
which is nothing compared to getting both health and defence increase.
Now to Compare Tier 2 vs Tier 2.5

As you can see with Tier 2.5 I gain health, defence, and power(not bad for raid gear)
With Tier 2 the only thing i gain is 1 precision and 11 Dominance
For a tank Health and Defence is everything which is why Tier 2.5 is better than Tier 2 (i only get 11 dominance) below is a comparision, telling me what i get if i buy TIER 2 Feet
The big difference is Dominance. It is huge for a Tank, but i have gone from 500 dominance to 600 dominance and saw no change in my stuns. So losing 10 dominance is no big deal if i get an increase in health, defence and power.
These stats might be different for other roles.
Controllers might get crazy Vit or Healers might get crazy Restor
I also have Tier 2.5 shoulders that increase most of my stats compared to Tier 2
For me i will stick with my Tier 2.5 feet and shoulders and save my marks for when Tier 3 comes out.
