I Christen Thee TIER 2.5!!

I might get alot of shit for this, but whatever. So im in Inner Batcave with the League and the 2nd Boss drops some tank Feet. At first I didn't care because i already owned some feet i got from Kahndaq or outer (not sure which). Then i looked at the stats. See for your self, also you can see same style, different name

As you can see every stat goes up between the two except Dominance (Increase of 10)

So i feel confident since there is an increase all 3 of the 5 stats (one stays the same) it is not a variation with different stats.

A variation would have 100 power increase with 50 decrease in might while the variation would have 50 increase in might with a 100 power decrease.

This is not the case.

Only dominance goes up by 10 (which is the  roughly the same amount of Tier 2 dominance) 

which is nothing compared to getting both health and defence increase.

As you can see with Tier 2.5 I gain health, defence, and power(not bad for raid gear)

With Tier 2 the only thing i gain is 1 precision and 11 Dominance

For a tank Health and Defence is everything which is why Tier 2.5 is better than Tier 2 (i only get 11 dominance) below is a comparision, telling me what i get if i buy TIER 2 Feet

The big difference is Dominance. It is huge for a Tank, but i have gone from 500 dominance to 600 dominance and saw no change in my stuns. So losing 10 dominance is no big deal if i get an increase in health, defence and power.

These stats might be different for other roles.

Controllers might get crazy Vit or Healers might get crazy Restor



I also have Tier 2.5 shoulders that increase most of my stats compared to Tier 2



For me i will stick with my Tier 2.5 feet and shoulders and save my marks for when Tier 3 comes out.

Darkest Dawn is Ready for Batcave Part 3, Bring on OMAC Batman

During the League Raid on Saturday night, we were able to beat the Inner Batcave. We beat every boss with no team wipes including Brother Eye. The only part that gave us trouble was the one-hitter-quiter Adds, OMAC Guardians, after the second boss. If we didn't struggle with them we could have possibly gotten the under-hour feat!

With two League Member Only Wins under our belt (many more with randoms), Inner Batcave should be no problem for the remaining league memebers who have not beaten it. Just ask for help!

New 13,000 damage Power: SHAZAM

Master ShungLao must be a real master because he does a move no one else can called Shazam.

The screen shot shows the name of the move and the video shows someone getting hit for 13,000 damage

WOW!!

The animation is simmilar to the "Word of Power" except his move says Shazam.

Amy Adams (Fighter) to play Lois Lane in Superman: Man of Steel

Amy Adams from the movie Fighter was casted Sunday to play Lois Lane. Along with Adams, British actor Henry Cavill is cast as Superman/Clark Kent and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner will play his adoptive parents.

No word yet as to who the villians will be. But theres much web speculation that Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn LOTR triology) will be playing General Zod.

Zod is a Kryptonian General Sentenced to life imprisonment inside the Phantom Zone who escapes and is bent on world domination.

Hopefully Zod will be cast.

No word on Lex, but expect him to be in there.

The last Superman movie, Superman Returns, felt more like some soap-opera romantic movie than a Hollywood Blockbuster.

Seriously Superman was a peeping tom, like 8 people died as he creeply watch Lois Lane from the outside of her home.

And where did the kid come from? If the kid is a result from Superman 2 when Superman gives up his powers and became human and Superman and Lois do the dirty then why does the kid have superpowers.

Better question why does a kid kill a bad guy with a piano in the family friendly Superman Movie. Since when is murder ok in a Superman Movie?

And Superman being the Ultimate Tank, why does he not throw one punch in the whole Superman Returns movie and then gets beat up by Kumar?

For those of you who don''t know HUSH is a badass villian from Batman's side of town.

I highly recommend this series. I comes in a two series book and it is amazing. The story is great. It has every villian in it. Superman is in it. There is a nice Superman vs Batman fight.


And the art is crazy. It is a great murder mystery book, with a great twist at the end.

1st Pic of Wonder Woman TV SHOW! Ehh & My Live Action Take on a Justice League Film

So they are coming out with a new Wonder Woman Tv show starring Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman and Elizabeth Hurley will guest star in the pilot as the villain, Veronica Cale. Check out the new pic and some comparrison pics of the old TV Show.

This chick is hot and gots the body to pull off Wonder Woman, but i don't know about a live action WW tv show. It might be too corney for todays generation. Supposedly they are giving Wonder Woman multiple personalities.

You remember a the live-action show called Birds of Prey with Huntress and Oracle? (Batman and Joker were in the First episode, after their 1 min  of screen time the show went down hill)

Hurley is hot and her character is in charge of Oolong Island.

I guess I will have to see the show in action before passing judgment, but my guess is that it will be terrible.

But Ill see it only to because the corset is super hot. WTF is up with the pants though. Not really Amazonian.

The outfit could grow on me though, it does have a more modern vibe going on. The chest definatley shows off Wonder Woman's assets.

Plus the Emblem is tight.
I guess its wishful hoping for  a modern Wonder Woman in underwear/short-shorts/panties/bikini bottom (not sure what the fuck they are called).

They should just make a movie with her and then Flash

Then a Justice League with Batman (bale), Superman (new movie coming soon with Henry Cavill), Green Lantern (Ryan Reynolds), Wonder Woman, and Flash.

Earth Green Lanterns and the GL Corps

Hal Jordan

Jordan was the first human to be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps. Mentored by Sinestro, he quickly became the Greatest of the Green Lanterns. When Coast City was destroyed by Cyborg-Superman (Death and Return of Superman series), he became infected by the parasite fear entity Parallax.

Forced by Parallax to destroy the Green Lantern Corps, he absorbed the Central Battery and killed all but one of the Guardians of the Universe. By Absorbing the Central Battery's power he gained God-Like powers that surpass even Superman.

He later sacrificed himself to reignite the Sun (Final Night). His soul was bound to the Spectre, and was plagued by the Spectre’s cries for vengeance. While his body laid dormant in the sun protected by the Central Battery Energy he stole. His body and soul were reunited with the help of his fellow Earth Green Lanterns, Stewart, Rayner, and Gardner.

Jordan was pardoned of all crimes he committed while infected by Parallax. He has a very criticizing point of view when it comes to the Guardians of the Universe. He currently has a fling going on with the Queen of the Star Sapphires (Violet/Love Lanterns) Carol Ferris.

John Stewart

When Jordan had to devote more time to the formation of the Green Lantern Corps, Stewart was chosen to take over his duties in Space Sector 218. Born on the streets, Stewart always had a chip on his shoulder when it came to authority. Which is weird because he joined the Armed Forces.

His arrogance resulted in the destruction of an entire planet. During a battle he was injured and became crippled. Kyle Rayner as ION helped heal his wounds and regain the ability to walk.

He is the least of my favorite Green Lanterns. His dialogue reminds me of something Kanye West would say.

John Stewart “ I don’t have to do anything, but stay black.”

What does that even mean?!

Kyle Rayner

Rayner is the reason I started reading Green Lantern. After Hal Jordan destroyed the Central Battery, the sole surviving Guardian of the Universe, Ganthet, fled with the Last Green Lantern Ring. He found Kyle in the back of an alley puking his brains out.

 “I guess you shall do.” Ganthet says after giving Kyle the ring and leaving without telling him what it is or how the ring works.

Kyle never had a Corps to teach him how to use the Ring. He learned everything himself.

Kyle is no stranger to loss. All the women in his life were murdered by villains, even his mother.

After Jordan sacrificed himself to reignite the Sun, Kyle embarrassed the Central Power Energy Jordan stole and became ION. With God-like powers he started righting wrongs both on Earth and the entire Universe (he could be in multiple places at the same time).

He gave up the power in order to resurrect the Guardians of the Universe and restored the power back into the Central Power Battery.

If not for his actions the Green Lantern Corps would never had been reformed. As such his contributions to the Corps earned him a position among the Honored Guard.

Guy Gardner

Gardner is the funniest of all the Green Lanterns. He is a frat boy from Michigan University (he has a MU sticker on his power battery). He was Jordan’s replacement during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The ultimate rebel, he holds nothing back when it comes to speaking his mind to the Guardians. He operates a Bar made for Green Lantern Vets on the Green Lantern homeworld OA.

Kilowog

Trainer of Green Lanterns, he was killed by Jordan when Jordan stole the Central Battery Power and was later resurrected by Kyle Rayner.
He tore off Arkillo's Ring Finger....what a bad ass!

You can find him in front of the City Hall building in Metropolis.

New Patch: Finally Fix Discconnect Screen So You Can Hit X To Return To Character Select!!!YES!

Introducing Proximity Chat:
In a continuing effort to improve DCUO's Social Interface, we are excited to offer a sneak peek at our new Proximity Chat voice feature which can be enabled in the Voice Options tab under Settings.  With this enabled, players can join the Proximity Chat channel and hear voices of all nearby players of the same faction in all Public Zones such as Metropolis, Gotham City, The Watchtower, etc...).  Expect significant improvements to this feature as well as to our overall Social UI in the next major update.

• Loot will no longer disappear if two players attempt to collect it at the exact same time. 
• Group members will now receive the correct bonuses when Nature: Carnage is used.
• The critical healing bonus received from the Nature: Insectoid passive ability has been increased.
• League Chat will now only allow those in that League to join the channel.
• Various Game Exploits have been addressed.
• Players may now return to character select from the disconnect screen by pressing “X” instead of having to restart the entire game again.
• Added Push to Talk functionality for the PS3.  Players can enable this in the options menu and can use the right button on the directional pad when speaking.
• When in the same voice channel, players will now see a green speaker icon over the head of the character that is speaking.  
• Push to Talk should now function when any UI is open.
• The Synth-Played Shortbow should now have a visibile appearance when equipped.
• The Mask of the Blessed should now be visible on Male characters.
• The molded Plexiderm Sholders should no longer be listed twice on the Vendors.

In Brightest Day

With the New Green Lantern movie coming this summer, we can expect some emerald goodies filled content to come rolling in the next few months.

We probably can expect content similar to February’s catwoman and v-day content, a couple missions and an event (Sinestro Corps vs Green Lantern Corps War with players as Recruits?). Hopefully we get a GL ring or Trinket.

This post is part 1of a series of posts that will inform you on all things Green Lantern to better inform you on the movie and game content.

What makes Green Lantern so Special?

The first sentient beings self proclaimed, The Guardians of the Universe, discovered that similar to the light spectrum there was also an emotional energy spectrum that could be harnessed into energy.

At the center of the Emotional  Spectrum was Willpower. Anytime a sentient being used any type of force of will, even simple things like making yourself move, that being radiated Will Power energy.

The Guardians created a Central Battery that would collect and store that radiated Will Power from all across the universe. They created a ring that would tap into the central battery and funnel that energy through its wearer to create hard light constructs.

Only beings that could control willpower and overcome their fears were deemed worthy of the Green Lantern mantel. The Ring is the most powerful weapon in the DC Universe limited only by its wearer’s willpower and imagination.

The Universe is divided into 3600 sectors (Precincts). Each sector is patrolled by two Green Lanterns. Additionally some Green Lantern’s are given the status of Honor Guard and don’t have a sector, they do what they want when they want.



Space Sector 2814 contains Earth and is patrolled by Hal Jordan and John Stewart. There are currently four human Green Lanterns.



How Awesome is Mark Strong's Sinestro!!!!!



The movie is set to be released June 17,2011.

The movie stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Mark Strong as Thaal Sinestro, and Blake Lively as Carol Ferris (Who later becomes a Star Saphire). The movie also features Tim Robbins, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett, and Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett from Star Wars)
